Tass is the state sponsored media of Russia and is lying about everything every day. All the bioweapons claims etc. are lies. Everything Russia is saying right now is a lie. Putin lies even more than Trump, which is saying a lot. Just as outrageous, Russia is now claiming to control information outside of their own country. They want to police information in the whole world through the UN! That has to be the craziest thing I’ve read, at least today. This is one a recent headlines, showing how insane Tass and other state media from Russia really is.
Right now, today on March 14th 2022, the war in Ukraine continues to spread and the Russian aggression continues unabated. The Russians are moving west and north, threatening Kviv, Poland and all of Europe. A headline from the New York Times:
It’s true, this is a slaughter. Putin is a madman. I think he enjoys killing people, even former Russian citizens, even his “brothers” the Ukrainian people. He does not care. Putin is a serial killer. He must be eliminated. Putin must be literally removed from the planet. Putin has forfeited his right to live on this planet. Blast him into orbit, send him to the moon, I don’t care, just get him off Earth.
There isn’t much you or I can do about the horrible situation in Ukraine. I have donated money, I have tried social media and pressuring certain government officials to do more through social media, but that has a very limited affect, if any. The official stance of this website Bluesplaining is to eliminate Putin and stop the war. Despite the fact that this is a progressive, generally anti-war website, I feel the US needs to do more to help Ukraine – both for humanitarian reasons and for the reason that many experts feel this war could spread to more of Europe and NATO countries.
We have to stop this war. I am in favor of a limited no-fly zone and military jets to Ukraine from Poland. I hope that doesn’t lead to a world war but it seems that Putin is determined to do that anyway. I don’t think we avoid that at this point. Ukraine needs more help NOW.
